Yellow Box Honey comes from the Yellow Box Eucalyptus trees (Eucalyptus Melliodora) which have a yellow inner bark and creamy pale yellow blossoms.
Yellow Box Honey has an aromatic light amber color and a mild distinctive flavor. It is smooth and buttery on the tongue. It is dense and slow to crystallize. Neither too thick nor too runny, it’s great for spreading on toast, sandwiches, etc. It is all-rounder honey with distinctive taste & diverse uses, making it a favorite among many honey lovers.
Note: Avoid giving raw honey — even a tiny taste — to babies under age 1.
